Our story
Medical seats for a district that had none
AKT IIT–NEET Academy was started in 2017 so that Kallakurichi students could prepare for NEET and JEE without moving to Chennai or Namakkal. In its first three years it sent 23, 31 and 52 students to MBBS and 5, 7 and 9 to BDS.
The academy runs long-term batches for repeaters, integrated batches with the AKT schools, and a foundation programme from Class VI for NTSE and Olympiads. Students from government schools eligible for the 7.5% quota study free. The AKT–Dinamalar NEET model exam reaches students across the district.
